Saving Humanity as a Tragic Heroine

It’s no secret that art courts tragedy — dark atmospheric neo-gothic themes that are reflective of the world, past, present and future. Lively scenarios are rarely explored as they usually represent a fantasy realm that just cannot be taken seriously. In that respect, I am very real. Not just for the sake of it but I actually genuinely court this niche arena that does not create warm, fuzzy feelings for the majority of the globe.

I believe conformist mentality is absurd, each person is an individual, societal conventions hold no real meanings, guarantees or promises and that true love encompasses all. I am spiritual, an agnostic theist, who believes that love is all around us and God resides within each of our hearts.

Humanity is a recurring theme in many campaigns, films and novels that highlights conflicts between different communities. However, humanity and humanism is rarely emphasized in reality where the self prevails over altruism. In such settings, tragedy often takes course and that is a hard truth that I can grapple with as opposed to a sugar-coated cookie-cutter universe that cannot possibly exist where mammalian nature is ubiquitous. Hence, I believe that humanity can be saved, by confronting it without the rainbow colors and with the cold, downtempo ambience that lends credibility to the situation. Ain’t nothing wrong with being a tragedy queen. I tell it like it is. I keep it real.
