From Mystery to Fantasy — my historical crushes!
Raoul Wallenberg was a Holocaust hero whose disappearance was one of the 20th century’s biggest mysteries. He was single at the time of disappearance and the enigma surrounding it induces so much imagination.
Guy Fawkes was also single at the time of his death and he is highly regarded as an anti-establishment figure by history revisionists.
Other than Alternating Current Electricity, Nikola Tesla had several other undiscovered patents and works such as the Wardenclyffe Tower project that have been shrouded in mystery. He also chose celibacy to put all of his energy into his work. He was probably the inspiration behind the quote ‘geniuses die alone’.
